The Start It Program is an early career development program focused on developing high-potential interns and co-ops into permanent, full-time employees within the Global Strategy & Marketing organization of Siemens Digital Industries Software. The program is designed to provide these individuals with a solid cross-functional understanding of our business and to give them some choices for their first permanent job after graduating college. The role is part of a rotational program lasting 18 months from the start of full-time employment, which gives the employee exposure to the major components of the strategy and marketing functions. The program administrator will work closely with the participant to define a total of 3 job rotations, each about six months in duration, that align to their areas of interest and career development goals.
Three months before the end of the last rotation, the program administrator and marketing leadership team will assess the employee's performance in the program and identify a short list of permanent job options. The employee will then have the opportunity to discuss each of the options with the hiring managers and potentially receive offers. The employee will choose from these offers the role they prefer to take and move to that role at the end of the final rotation as a full-time, permanent employee.
