Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Austin, TX is $166,899.00 - $234,720.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Serve as primary link between the customers and the product team building leading-edge technology solutions; Work with customers and potential customers to identify technology or operational challenges in their existing physical design flows, then use developing relationships and deep knowledge to lead the Siemens team to a successful evaluation, sale, and deployment of Aprisa to solve the customers' problems. Help customers get their designs done using Aprisa solution; Manage professional relationships inside and outside the organization.
Requirements: Employer will accept a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in an Applications Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
1. Hands-on working experience with RTL to GDS synthesis and place and routing tools.
2. Supporting end-users in digital design closure using modern EDA solutions.
3. Leveraging sales and product positioning in FinFET-related digital implementation evaluations to complete successful tool evaluations in competitive environments.
4. Working with N3E, 7nm, 10nm, 14nm, 16nm, 28nm HPM flow using low power methodologies and CTS
5. Growing and maintaining customer relationships, providing outstanding technical presentations, and support technical sales activity.
6. Scripting in TCL, Python, and Perl, particularly for the development of digital design methodologies and flows.
7. Mentoring and training new team members.
25% domestic travel required. Telecommuting is permissible from a commutable distance. [Hybrid role]
