Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Livonia, MI is $84,880.00 - $169,760.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Work with customers and business personnel to define and document deployment plans utilizing Capital tool suite. Deploy Capital tool suite. Execute and manage deployment projects at customer's site according to the deployment plan. Translate business requirements into specific solutions, applications, or process designs for projects. Configure Capital tools to support customer's requirements. Provide technical assistance to customers including technical problem solving with Capital installation, features, and usage. Deliver technical workshops in deployment projects. Assist consulting management and account managers in determining incremental sales opportunities (services & products), and strategy leveraged by the successful deployment project. Communicate customer technical requirements to product marketing. Support project management activities to control scope, cost, schedule and quality. Communicate project processes, progress to support customer expectations and support customer adoption. Customize Capital per customer requirements using product API (programming). Provide technical assistance on electrical logical connectivity and physical wire schematics using Capital Logic Designer. Provide industry best practices on electrical harness design, costing, publishing, and/or manufacturing.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Product Architect-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
1. Working with Capital harness design and manufacturing modules including Harness Designer / Designer Modular, Formboard Designer, Process Designer, Work Instruction Publisher, and Harness Costing
2. Working on projects to ensure timely delivery and handle project risks with cross-functional teams
3. Handling customer expectations, resolving conflicts, and providing solutions to customers
4. Working with Java programming language
5. Utilizing Capital to support electrical harness design, cost estimation, or manufacturing processes.
10% domestic travel required. Telecommuting permissible pursuant to company policy. [Hybrid role]
