Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Santa Clara, CA is $188,760.00 - $211,500.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Work closely with Calibre customers to resolve their usage and flow issues and manage their requests for flow development and support. Solve layout and circuit verification issues in advanced nodes. Support tape-out activities and debugging complex flow and tool issues. Design, implement, and deploy CAD solutions to help customers in their flow development. Interface with sales teams to align on accounts strategy and provide leads to deploy Calibre flows and solutions. Collaborate with product teams to report issues, understand new features, and help deploy these with business customers. Help customers and product teams with testing features and replicating issues to help improve tools and flows.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in an Application Support Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
1. Working with Physical Verification Calibre DRC and Calibre DFM for sign off support.
2. Working in Calibre PERC and related Electrical ESD checks to support and develop Logic driven Layout flows including Point-to-point (P2P) and Current Density (CD) PERC PDK.
3. Working with DRM (Design Rule Manual) to develop test case structure in various flows
4. Utilizing TCL, TVF and SVRF languages to develop Calibre nmDRC and Calibre nmLVS and Calibre PERC checks.
5. Utilizing qualification techniques and automation flows
6. Working with Linux operating system developing Shell and Python scripts to debug and support customers with Calibre software.
25% Domestic Travel Required. Telecommuting permissible pursuant to company policy. [Hybrid role]
