About the role:
Siemens Digital Industries Software in Belgium is seeking a Build and Dependency Management engineer to develop and maintain the Simcenter FLOEFD build system. As a member of a global, multi-site development team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining market-leading software solutions.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting and improving current Jenkins-based CI infrastructure.
* Collaborating with DevOps teams with transition to Gitlab CI.
* Maintaining product installers.
* Supporting and maintaining CI related software on CI nodes (Windows and Linux).
* Supporting and improving automation for compliance related tooling: SAST, binary analysis, threat response analysis etc.
* Transition to CMake for entire codebase from a bespoke script-based solution.
What you'll bring:
* Experience with commercial software build systems
* Scripting languages: Perl, batch, bash, PowerShell, python, js
* Jenkins or similar
* C++ build tools: MS Visual Studio, MSBuild, CMake
* General familiarity with MSSQL
* Willingness to familiarize with 3rd party software (scanners, analyzers, report generators and so on)
* Willingness to sort out a very old tools codebase (10+ years), containing a lot of legacy
* r similar software is a plus
